A Building Inspection Report is a comprehensive written report based on a walk through visual inspection and snap shot of the property condition at a point in time, including a photographic schedule and advice on property condition, maintenance and remedial cost, if any. In addition, the report will include an inspection of any accessible areas, for example attic spaces, foul and surface water inspection chambers.
The report documents the type, methods and materials of construction including commentary on the complete building envelope (floors, walls, ceiling, roof and external windows & doors), energy efficiency and specific areas of improvement.
Prior to the site inspection clients can request to have particular elements of concern examined on the day of inspection and subsequently documented in the final report.
The report is applicable to all types of buildings, period structures, listed buildings, dated properties in need of modernisation or new builds.
I would strongly recommend Structure CPM to any first time buyers of older style properties
